Snowmass Mountain is easily one of the largest winter playgrounds on Earth. It is no wonder the 3000+ acre resort found in Aspen Snowmass, Colorado has been voted the #1 Overall Resort for 3 consecutive years in the annual TransWorld Snowboard Magazine Reader’s Poll and also named the #1 Terrain Park in 2012. Snowmass Mountain is so BIG it would take more than a week, maybe even more than a season, to ride all of the Terrain Parks and still ride all of the amazing natural terrain it has to offer.
For beginners, the Low Down Terrain Park has jibs, jumps, rollers and its own beginner halfpipe to gently introduce newcomers to the Terrain Park world. Our goal in this park is to be able to teach you right and keep you coming back for more. Snowmass has some of the best teaching staff around, so be sure to book a lesson and have us show you the ropes.
The next step up from Low Down is the Little Makaha Terrain Park, located under the Elk Camp Gondola. Makaha is filled with jumps and jibs that are maintained to the highest standards and are by far some of the most popular terrain features in the resort. Makaha is like a carbon copy of our larger parks, just scaled down for comfortable, yet ridiculously fun action.
The Snowmass Main Park is something of legend, and speaks for itself and its 2012 #1 Rating. For starters, Main Park has its own dedicated lift, Coney Glade, which provides top to bottom viewing of our most progressive features including the famous Triple Line and our perfect 500 foot long superpipe… all accessible in a 5 minute lap. Bring your A Game when you come to ride here, because if you are on it you can easily do 20 laps in a day; more if your legs can take it. We dare you!
Our parks and pipe are groomed nightly and taken care of by the best of the best in the ski and snowboard industry.
